Back by popular demand, the LifeSize Grant Assistance Program will host unique Virtual Field Trips each month during the 2013 school year. Virtual Field Trips, powered by live video via LifeSize® UVC Video Center™, are a great way to virtually transport your class on a fun learning excursion, without ever leaving the classroom, library or auditorium. All you need to view the virtual field trip is access to an internet connection, a computer and speakers. All Virtual Field Trips will be hosted on our website for you to watch.
Beginning February 2013, we’ve outlined monthly themes to help make it easier for you to tailor your lesson plans around the trips in advance.
The 2013 Virtual Field Trip line-up includes:
- April 12, 2013 - "Animal Families"
Visit a variety of zoos & museums to learn about different animal families and their habitats.
- May 17, 2013 - "Oh, the Drama!"
As you get ready for summer vacation, we’ll get your creative juices flowing with some drama—the good kind! We’ll visit a variety of performing arts venues and have some fun to kick-start the summer.
